Easter Ceremonies in Ennis

Holy Thursday, 28th March:

Cathedral: Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7.30pm.

Adoration of Blessed Sacrament at Altar of Repose.

Holy Hour 8.30pm – 9.30pm.

The Friary: Thursday, Friday & Saturday – Morning Prayer at 10am.

Holy Thursday: Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 6.30pm.

Procession to Altar of Repose in Poor Clare Monastery Chapel.

Adoration until 10pm with Night Prayer at 9.45pm in Poor Clares Chapel.

St. Joseph’s: Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper & Procession to Altar of Repose at 7pm.

Adoration until 9pm.

Cloughleigh: Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 8pm. Adoration until 10pm.

 Cahercalla: Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 6pm.

 Good Friday, 29th March:

Cathedral: Stations of the Cross at 10am.

Celebration of the Lord’s Passion at 3pm.

“The Cross”. Prayer and Reflection Around The Cross at 9pm

The Friary: Liturgy of the Passion at 5pm.

Reflection on the Passion at 8pm

 

St. Joseph’s: Stations of the Cross at 11am.

Celebration of the Lord’s Passion at 3pm

 Cloughleigh: Outdoor Stations at 10.30am – Garden of Remembrance.

Celebration of the Lord’s Passion at 3pm.

Cahercalla: Stations of the Cross at 2pm.

Holy Saturday, 30th March:

Cathedral: Morning Prayer at 11am.

Blessing of Polish Breakfast Food: 3.30pm.

Easter Vigil Mass at 9pm and Prayer of Waiting

(Note: No 6.30pm Mass this Evening.)
The Friary: Easter Vigil at 9pm. (Note: No 7.30pm Mass this Evening.)

St. Joseph’s: Easter Vigil Mass at 7pm.

Cloughleigh: Easter Vigil Mass at 9pm.

 

Easter Sunday, 31st March:

Cathedral: 9am, 10.30am & 12 noon

The Friary: 9.30am, 10.30am & 12 noon
