NATIONAL HERITAGE WEEK ENNIS TOWNS with LARRY BRENNAN

You are most welcome to join with Ennis Tidy Towns and local historian Larry Brennan to find out the history of Ennis’ laneways, bow-ways and other aspects of our town’s hidden heritage. A thoroughly enjoyable and leisurely stroll around Ennis. You will find out information about Ennis that you never knew existed! Monday August 21st 7pm – 9pm Meet at Club Bridge.

As part of Heritage Week 2017, Clare Walks Ltd. has organised two guided walks along parts of the Mid Clare Way.

Saturday 19 August, 2pm – 4:30pm – Enjoy a 10-12km Guided Heritage Walk, along part of the Mid Clare Way walking route, starting in the picturesque village of Quin, taking in some historical sites, woodland trails & breath taking views. Adult: €7.50 I Child: €2.50

Thursday 24 August, 11am – 12:30pm – A FREE guided 5km-6km walk in Dromore Wood Nature Reserve through woodland paths full of a variety of species; for anyone over 50 years of age who is interested in getting active and staying healthy.
