A sub group; John Tunney, John Molloy, Samantha Mc Carthy, Tikki Daly, was set up to look at the above. A meeting was held on November 7th , two members attended (Samantha & Tikki). No decision was reached but proposals were put forward by Samantha for discussion at Pastoral Council meeting on 13th November
Ø Key points raised were
Ø Clarification on how the issue arose
Ø Is it for the broader Parish
Ø Is it Theology or Bible study
Ø Does this group have a role in Religious life of Parish or can it cross over to Adult Education in the broader sense.
Ø What is the difference between Adult Faith Formation
It is clear that some of the above mentioned exist i.e. Liturgy group; Theology.
The question was asked should the role of the Adult Education group be one that would co ordinate the work of existing groups. It was agreed that the group should meet to identify new ideas i.e. Book Club, and report back to Pastoral Council.

Mission Plans
Addressed by Fr. Flannery
Fr. Flannery expressed reservations at himself delivering the Mission because he has previously done so on different occasions and expressed a fear of familiarity to Parish. There is no input from lay persons available, as in previous years. However there are young priests working with the mission. It was agreed that all of the above could be seen as positive and Fr.Flannery should deliver the Mission.
ü February 23rd is the proposed date.
ü Format the same as previous years in terms of time of Masses etc.
ü Theme to be decided
1. After Christmas the Pastoral Council to co ordinate delivery of flyers to all the houses in Parish.
2. Clare F.M. , Clare Champion and Clare People to be contacted neared to the time re publicity.
3. Fr. Flannery to speak on Clare F.M.
