The town of Ennis is the principal town of County Clare, Ireland. It is situated on the river Fergus 15 minutes drive from Shannon Airport and 30 minutes drive from Limerick City on the N18. The town grew around the Franciscan Community in the 12 Century. Ennis is now one of the fastest growing towns in Europe.
