Alzheimer Society-Clare Branch
A day care centre operates three times weekly in Respond House, Drumbiggle (off the Market). Open from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. Contact : Mary at 6823514 during opening times.
Monthly support meetings are held for carers, relatives and friends at the Alzheimer Office, Unit 17, Clonroad Business Park, Clonroad, Ennis, on the second Thursday of each month at 8.00pm.
Support meetings also held in Kilrush and Ennistymon, contact 6823514 for details.
Home care support can be obtained from this office for carers in need of a break. Telephone: Brigid or Pauline at 6845835 or 6868621. Drop in service for information available at office, Unit 17, Clonroad Business Park.
Aware
Aware is an organisation formed in 1985 by a group of interested patients, relatives and mental health professionals. Meetings are held all over the country to give help and encouragement to people suffering from depression and to their relatives.

Bereavement
Bereaved Parents Association is an organisation for bereaved parents, grandparents, brothers, and sisters. Meetings by arrangement or any Tuesday in Cathedral House at 8pm, or Friary Parlous any day.

Living Links: Support for families bereaved by Suicide. In Clare, there is a group of people who have undergone some training, to offer confidential, practical support & advice to families, who have experienced death by suicide. The suicide outreach support person, at the request of the family, can call to the home or meet at a location, appointed by the family. Please feel free to contact Clare “Living Links” Support Co-ordinator at 086 056 5373 between 5pm & 7pm Monday to Friday.

Cloughleigh Community Centre is based at Davitt Terrace, Cloughleigh. The centre is community based and is administered by Cloughleigh Residents & Development group.
This group is voluntary and liaise with the statuary bodies for the betterment of the community of Cloughleigh.

Ennis Parish Pastoral Council
Ennis Parish Pastoral Council is a decision making body, composed of lay people, priests and other religious, who take co-responsibility for pastoral planning and pastoral care within the Catholic Church in the Parish of Ennis. The focus of the Pastoral Council is collaborative ministry, in other words all of us working together for the good of parish and sharing the responsibility. The role of the Pastoral Council is to confirm, refine and co-ordinate the policy making, planning and management of the Pastoral, Administrative and Financial affairs of Ennis Parish.

Grow
Grow consists of a network of mutual help groups, which meet weekly. In these meetings, people learn to understand the factors which promote mental health and what steps they can take themselves, along with friendly help and support, to overcome problems such as phobias, anxiety, depression, panic attacks and loneliness.
