Hundreds gathered in the Cathedral of SS Peter & Paul on Gaudete Sunday 15th December for the Annual Ecumenical Carol Service when the combined choirs of all Ennis Churches come together to sing Christmas carols. This year St Columba’s Church of Ireland in Bindon Street, under the leadership of Rector Rev. Kevin O Brien led the service of Nine Lessons and Carols. Bishops Kenneth Kearnon and Fintan Monahan gave the blessing. The choirs were directed by Fiona Walsh, Choir Director, Ennis Cathedral.
