DESCRIPTION:September 26 @ 11:00 am – 12:30 pm \nOur next Ramblers guided walk will start at 11am from The Piper’s Inn\, Ogonnelloe.\nThis walk is approx. 7km and follows quite roads and footpath. The first 2km of this walk is are uphill but the remaining 5km is downhill or flat\, finishing at the Piper’s Inn for the customary tea and scones.\nThese walks are primarily for over 50’s but all are welcome.\nAll walks are free with an optional donation which goes towards the future maintenance of both the East and Mid Clare Ways.\nPlease wear suitable footwear and clothing.\nDogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.

DESCRIPTION:Dawn Walk on Ballcuggaran in Killaloe\nSeptember 29 @ 6:30am – 8am  €5 p.p.\nLeaving Two-Mile-Gate (Ballycuggaran Blue Flag Beach)\, Killaloe at 6:30am SHARP\, we will follow the Ballycuggaran Looped Walk and climb to a height of approx. 250 metres.\nAt the highest point of this looped walk with the beautiful expanse of Lough Derg beneath us\, we will watch the sun rise.\nAfterwards we will continue on the looped walk returning to the start point. The looped walk follows forest road\, forest track and minor road through dense forest and open hillside.\nParts of this walk can be STRENUOUS.
