Phase one of the painting of the Cathedral is now complete; the Cathedral re-opens for all masses and ceremonies this weekend. We thank you for your understanding over the past three weeks. Work on phase two: painting of the Sacristy, Chapter Room and Choir room will continue this week. Work has also been ongoing in upgrading the Fire and Emergency exits and upgrading the lighting of the Cathedral.

Cathedral Renovation Appeal The current plan of work: painting, lighting, fire and emergency works is estimated to cost in the region of €150,000. We thank three parishioners who in the past week donated €200, €150 and €50 to the appeal. If you would like to make a once off donation to this appeal, your contribution would be very much appreciated. Contributions can be marked Cathedral Renovation Appeal and left into the Parish Office or in the collection basket or Cathedral House.
