Monthly Meeting of the Secular Franciscan Order (SFO) takes place in the Friary at 10am and in St. Anthony’s Hall at 7pm on 1st Wednesday of each month. Morning meeting includes Mass.
It is wonderful that, from Tuesday 1st December, we can gather together again as a parish community to celebrate Mass albeit with reduced numbers. We are very conscious of the need for all parishioners to be vigilant and observe the regulations asked of us for the good of the public health of everybody.
St. Vincent de Paul’s annual appeal takes place at this time of year. The month of December is the time when 70% of annual donations are received and it is also the busiest time for volunteers.

Fr Paddy was a native of Killimer, Co. Clare and was a priest of the Diocese of Killaloe for 62 years. He was a past pupil of St Flannan’s College, Ennis. He studied for the priesthood at St Patrick’s College, Maynooth where he was ordained on 22nd June 1958.
