The past week has seen a gathering of Franciscan Friars from Ireland and Britain at Dromantine Retreat Centre Co Down for the Provincial Chapter of Friars. A time of prayer and discernment where friars elect their new Leadership Team.
We congratulate Fr Aidan McGrath who was re-elected as Provincial and his new Vicar is Fr David Collins. They are assisted in the Defenitory by Bro Stephen O’Kane and Frs Pat Longsdale, Damien Casey, and Anthony Jukes.
Bro Stephen and Frs David, Anthony, and Damian have at different times been part of the Ennis Fraternity of Friars.
Please pray for them as they continue to answer the call to serve and witness to the Gospel.
