From the 29th of June to the 6th of July, a group of 22 pilgrims from Le Chéile Youth Ministry in Ennis embarked on a deeply enriching journey to the Taizé Community in France. Accompanied by Fr. John Molloy, Joanne O’Brien, Myriam Black, Arlene O’Sullivan, and Saoirse Boyce, the group experienced an unforgettable week of faith, reflection, and connection.
Each day was marked by the rhythm of community life—joining the Brothers of Taizé in prayer three times daily, engaging in thought-provoking workshops, and sharing in the spirit of unity with young people from all corners of the globe. The experience offered a powerful witness to ecumenism, with Christians of different traditions coming together in a spirit of peace and mutual respect.
For many, it was not just a trip but a spiritual awakening—one that fostered new friendships, deepened faith, and offered space for reflection and renewal.
