On Sunday 31st May at 3.00pm, the Feast of the Holy Trinity, Ian Cunningham, son of Caroline and Denis and brother of Sarah, Elm Park and a professed Franciscan Friar, was ordained to the priesthood in the Friary here in Ennis for service in the Franciscan Province of Ireland and Britain. Bro. Ian celebrated his First Mass on Bank Holiday Monday 1st June at 10am in the Friary and he will celebrate the 7.30pm Mass on Wednesday 3rd June in the Cathedral. After both masses he will give his first blessing to all present.
