In the coming days of August, a number of priests across the Diocese are on the move following the Killaloe Diocesan Appointments recently completed by Bishop Fintan. Among those on the move this year is Fr. Jibin who has been appointed a Co-PP of the Cronan Pastoral Area and will reside in Roscrea.
Jibin is a priest of the Missionaries of Incarnation, a Missionary Congregation based in Kerala, India and came to us in the Killaloe Diocese in October, 2024 Since his arrival he has endeared himself gently to the people of Abbey Pastoral Area. His kind and gentle approach to pastoral care is reflective of his missionary vocation which he has generously shared with us here in Ennis, leaving home and family to share the gospel with us.
His creative talent and training in the Ministry of Communication have been put to good use through his work in the field of social media at local and Diocesan level. We are incredibly grateful for Fr. Jibin’s contribution to the life and ministry of the Parish and Pastoral Area, and we pray every grace and blessing on him as he undertakes his new mission and calling in Roscrea.
