On Sunday 21st September, at the 11.30am Mass in the Cathedral, retired Defence Force Personnel gathered to remembered colleagues who have died. This annual remembrance brings personnel from all over the County and those who served in the 22nd Infantry Battalion. After Mass the gathering moved to the Peace Park in Friars Walk , where Fr Tom offered prayers and the salute and wreath laying ceremony followed. The commemoration concluded with the National Anthem.
