The long-awaited works at the Cathedral begin on the 1st July and preparations are underway in the grounds. The heating system will change from oil to natural gas, the pavements at the front of the Cathedral will be replaced, and the drainage and flooding issues around the Cathedral will be rectified. Fitizgibbon Contractors have been awarded the contract.
Please note that from Monday 6th July there will be no parking in the Cathedral grounds. Pedestrian access will be available, and entrance to the Parish Office and Scout Hall will be from Station Road. We apologise for this inconvenience.
