There will be a guided tour of the medieval Franciscan Friary of Ennis on Sunday 4th October, the 800th anniversary of St Francis’ death. Learn about Francis’ early life, the arrival and growth of the Franciscan Order in Ennis, and the friars’ fate after the dissolution of the Friary. The tour starts at 12 noon and lasts about 30-35 minutes.
Entry to the Friary is free during the event.
