Farewell to Old Scout Hall

February 23 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Ennis Scouts are preparing to build a new Scout Hall. On Sunday 23rd Feb at 3pm in Ennis Scout Hall there will be a gathering for former scouts to say “goodbye” to the Old Hall and share memories on the wall which will be used in the foundations of the new hall. All are welcome.

Lenten Talks

This year for Lent we invite you each Thursday night from 8.15pm to 9.30pm in the Maria Assumpta Hall in the Parish Centre to spend time learning new ways of praying. In response to our Parish Lenten theme “Lord teach us to Pray”, Thursday next 27th February, Bishop Fintan Monahan will lead us in the Devotional Prayer of St. John Henry Newman.

Day of Prayers for Victims and Survivors of Sexual Abuse

Friday 28th February Day of Prayers for Victims and Survivors of Sexual Abuse. Prayers will be offered at all Masses in the Cathedral of SS. Peter & Paul Ennis on Friday for the National Day of Prayer for Victims and Survivors of Sexual Abuse. Creation Spirituality Workshop

February 29th in the Clare 250 Cancer Centre. Workshop entitled: Seeking hope in dark times 1: Being present. The focus will be on exploring together the challenges that climate change and biodiversity loss present to each of us personally while sowing the seeds of an active hope. Workshops facilitated by Oonagh Roantree, Toni Ryan and Peadar Kirby from Cloughjordan Ecovillage. Cost: €30 payable on the day. The Clare Branch of the Alzheimer Society rearranged " Burren Walk " takes place in Fanore today Sunday the 1st of March.  Sponsored Walk will start / finish at O' Donoghue's Pub with Registration from 10:30a.m.  Refreshments and entertainment provided after the walk.
