Born in the parish of Boher, Ballina, Co. Tipperary. Educated in Boher, National School, St. Mary’s Secondary School, Nenagh, St. Ann’s Community College, Killaloe & Our Lady of Mercy Training College, Carysfort, Dublin. Entered the Sisters of Mercy “St. Xaviers”, Ennis and made Profession of Vows there in 1963. Involvd in educaton both as a class teacher and principal.

Ministry: Throughout the years included Sacramental Preparation, Parenting Programmes and Home Visitation, Bereavement Counselling, Prison Visitation & Spire Restoration Fundraising.
