On Sunday 9th November,  Ennis native Bro Ian Cunningham OFM was ordained a Deacon in the Chapel of the Poor Clares Monastery, Nuns Island, Galway, by Bishop Michael Duignan, Bishop of Galway and Clonfert. Bro Ian is the son of Denis and Caroline, Elm Park, Gort Road, and was professed a Franciscan Friary last September…

Our book of Remembrance honouring all who died in Ennis in the past year is now available from the Parish Office. The booklet contains the photos of 213 of our loved ones who died in the past year so that they will always be remembered and never forgotten. The booklet has some reflections on death…

Despite the threat of rain on All Souls Day, many people turned out to both Corrovorrin and Drumcliffe Cemeteries for the annual Blessing of the Graves and prayers for the faithful departed.
