The Secular Franciscan Order (SFO) have prayers at 9.40a.m. in the Franciscan Friary on the 1st Wednesday of every month.

First Friday Visits

July 25, 2025

Friday 1st August is the First Friday of the month. The priests of the parish will visit housebound parishioners with the sacraments. If you know of any housebound parishioners who would like to receive the sacraments, please contact the Parish Office.


Annual War Commemoration

On Saturday 19th July , veterans from Clare and Limerick gathered with locals in the The Peace Park at Friars Close to honour the dead of County Clare who took part in both world wars and on peace keeping duties with the UN.

Pilgrimage to Taizé – A Journey of Faith and Friendship

Official Opening and Blessing of An t’Ard Apartments

On Wednesday 9th July St Benedict Conference of St Vincent de Paul officially opened and blessed their new 12 apartment development, an t’Ard on Clonroad. The St Benedict Conference developed the housing scheme with support from Clare County Council.
We congratulate the Conference on a wonderful contribution to support housing in our parish.


Killaloe Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock

Our annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to knock Shrine took place on Sunday 6th July. Friary Roof Appeal
