The long-awaited works at the Cathedral begin on the 1st July. The heating system will change from oil to natural gas, the pavements at the front of the Cathedral will be replaced, and the drainage and flooding issues around the Cathedral will be rectified. Fitizgibbon Contractors have been awarded the contract.

Due to the work, all parking in the Cathedral grounds will be suspended from Monday 6th July. Pedestrian access will be available to both the Parrish Office and Cathedral at all times during the duration of this work.
